In the month of November we teamed up with Fresh Start again to donate money for the Christmas cheer fundraiser. Our Operations manager Shelly has been involved with Fresh Start since 2018 and introduced us to the great work that they do each year. From every invoice in November we received we’ll donate £1 to this great cause. Fresh Start will ensure proceedings are made into boxes of gifts for families less fortunate during this difficult Christmas period. Donations will also go towards fresh ingredients for a traditional Christmas dinner.
For the festive period in 2020 Fresh Start managed to donate an impressive 101 boxes of gifts and 76 bags of food impacting 235 people. It’s great to be able to help others less fortunate in the community.
Fresh Starts vision states ‘we believe that if you build family you build community.
When we experience a fresh start in our own lives, we are empowered to bring transformation into our households and then outwards into our community.’ This reciprocates what G&K stand for as a business. We want to do whatever we can to help the community. That’s why we were more than happy to help Fresh Start with their Christmas Cheer campaign which overall was a huge success and helps many families during a tough festive period.
We also want to show our appreciation to everyone at G&K Heating who were willing to donate items to this amazing cause so we thank you for that as well.
